The Yurok Tribe and Root and Rebound offers a free legal clinic for those with criminal records. This clinic is open to you and offers holistic services including: Record-clearing, employment issues due to criminal record, child custody, child support, legal identification issues and more. The K’ima:w Diabetes Center has a cooking class instructed by Megan Baldy. This class will be at the Diabetes Center in Hoopa from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, February 23rd. For more information you can give them a call at 625-4261 ext. 262.Find out more »
The Root and Rebound legal team will be providing holistic services such as: record cleaning services(such as Prop 47 and expungement's), assistance with employment issues due to criminal records, assistance with exempting convictions for child custody/visitations and placements issues, assistance with legal identification issues such as suspended driver's licenses, and legal information about any barriers due to prior criminal record. The clinic will provide take home resource materials.
