The K’ima:w Diabetes Prevention Center has a Red Dress Event on Thursday, February 15th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Diabetes Center. They have Health Screenings, Tobacco Cessation Booth, Lunch, and a presentation from Dr. David LaRose. Coming up Thursday, Feb 15th KIDE, Hoopa Tribal radio presents "Today's California Dream"
a special statewide call-in show at noon, focused on key issues of economic opportunity, quality-of-life and the future of the “California Dream.” This live show will explore some of the complexities around the myth, the promise and the reality of living in a state long connected with the idea of a “California Dream.” What is it? Whose dream is it? How has the “California Dream”changed?
