Join the cleanup movement of cigarette butts lying around in your area. You can contribute by gathering some family and friend to pick up the cigarette butts wherever you are. Be sure to take caution by wearing gloves and have a disposable bag or container handy. The Hupa Family Resource Center has gently used coats and sweatshirts available. They have a variety of different sizes and they are available until they are all gone. To receive one, you may stop by the Resource Center located at T8 Holt Street, behind the main TANF Office. The coats and sweatshirts have been donated by the Coats for the Cold Program. The weather is changing and its winter season. With the colder weather people tend to stop participating in regular exercising. The Diabetes Center invites you to exercise at their gym. a Native artist collaboration
Two-time Grammy award winner, Robert Mirabal (Taos Pueblo) and renowned ballet dancer and instructor Jock Soto (Navajo) are teaming up for a live production honoring Native culture and history in New Mexico. The stage production is a combination of dance, music and spoken word. They'll join us in Studio 49 to talk about their collaboration and their decades of influential work.
Native America Calling is a national call-in program that invites guests and listeners to join a dialogue about current events, music, arts, entertainment and culture.
The program is hosted by Tara Gatewood (Isleta Pueblo) and airs live each weekday from 10-11am on KIDE 91.3 FM.

TANF's Project is having Cultural Arts Class every Thursday starting at 2pm and ending at 5pm. Eligibility is for the following: Hoopa Valley Residents/Native American/ or 5th grade and older.
