Thursday, July 29, 2010: Racial Profiling in Arizona: Arizona's new anti-immigration law goes into effect today and the issue is still as charged as it was when it was first introduced. The Department of Justice joined civil rights groups by filing a lawsuit against Arizona, claiming that immigration policy is the purview of the federal government alone. Have other states already adopted laws like this? Will this law force the federal government to finally bring some much needed reform to immigration policy? If SB 1070 isn't the answer, what is?
